Sentimentalism is sacrificed for dynamism, demonstration of action and colour emotion.


Influences are varied including- Jasper Johns, Helen Levitt, Barnett Newman, Franz Kline, Man Ray, Arthur G. Dove, Edward Hopper, Jenny Holzer, Alexander Caldwell,  Kruger, Dada Movement, Schnabel, Pollock, Matisse, Jacob Epstein, Damien Hurst, Gormley, The Abstract Expressionists, such as Marc Rothko.

The media is a mix of oil on canvas, over-painted/ sprayed with acrylics, oils, cellulose paints and ink. Sculptures are a mix of stone, and wood and wire.
