Let’s choose a location!
These are the local places I photograph at most often, but if you have something you’d like to use instead such as a farm or even an indoor space such as a coffee shop, store, etc. that you’d like to do something different in, we can talk about that! Some of these places may be seasonal and unavailable at times, so I’d love for you to pick your favorite as well as a backup.
Montgomery Bell
They have a cute little dock to photograph on (we do have to be mindful of people fishing on it if it’s being used) as well as plenty of woodsy areas.
Open area with bridge
This is nestled beside a school with a cute bridge, some woods, and an open area!
Rotary Park
This park is full of greenery and trails as well as a creek if you aren’t afraid to get wet! They also have a couple of parks if you’d like to treat the kiddos to play-time afterwards.
My home near Montgomery Central schools
My home offers a field, seasonal colors depending on what’s growing, and beautiful golden hour lighting. If you’re interested in studio portraits, we can also add on a studio mini session.
Sunflower field (seasonal)
There are a couple of sunflower field that grow in the summer and fall in Clarksville and Nashville! They are very temporary (only available for a couple of weeks) and you sometimes have to fight for spots with others taking pictures, but it’s so worth it.
Flower garden (June-August)
This is a gorgeous flower garden in Oak Grove that also offers a woodsy area, tall hill (rainbow image) and a white picket fence.
Christian Way Farms (fall)
This farm is beautiful to photograph in the fall! Some years they have a sunflower field and pumpkin patch that makes for fun pictures as well.
Road and swing near Kentucky border
I would need to update their permission policy because it sometimes changes, but they have a fun swing at the little church with a white picket fence and a long road nearby.
Downtown Clarksville
If you’d like something a little more urban, downtown is a great place! It’s also convenient to go out to eat as a family right after your session.
Cliff in Kentucky (adults only)
This is a cliff we need to climb (it does have stairs except for one small part) and has amazing views. I recommend this only for couples or modeling sessions without children.
